K.B. Steel

If you head out toward Village-Kothariya, you will find K.B. Steel located in the Shivam Industrial Area. We are tucked right behind the Riddhi Siddhi Society. It is an interesting spot because you have the quiet residential houses on one side and then all the busy industrial sheds on the other. Since we deal with steel, there are always heavy stacks of metal beams and pipes lying around the yard. It is a bit of a drive to get out here from the main city, but there is much more space for the trucks to move around. The mornings are usually the busiest time for us when the vehicles arrive to load up for their deliveries. We don't have a fancy office building, just a small metal cabin with a desk and a couple of chairs where we handle all the billing and phone calls. Most of the time we are out on the yard floor making sure the steel is sorted into the right piles. It gets very dusty out here when the wind picks up in the late afternoon. We have been in this location for a few years now and have watched the whole area grow. We know most of the other guys running the different sheds nearby. We don't use any high-tech computers, just some basic paper logs and our own memory to keep things straight. It is just a normal way to run a steel yard.
