Jonson Engineers

If you go behind the S T Workshop on Samrat Ind. Main Road, you’ll find Jonson Engineers. We are located right across from Shree Stamping. It’s a busy part of the industrial area in Rajkot. We do engineering work here. Mostly fixing things or making specific parts that people need for their own machines. It’s not a clean job. There’s oil on the floor and the smell of metal and cutting fluid in the air. We’ve been at this address for a good long while now. The building has seen better days, and maybe it needs a fresh coat of paint, but it keeps the rain off our heads. We have a few lathes and some old hand tools that still work better than the new ones sometimes. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and comes out to talk when someone stops by the gate. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't have time for fancy talk or big presentations. We just look at the problem and try to solve it with what we have. Sometimes the spare parts take a while to get here, which can be frustrating for everyone. We just do our best. It’s a small team, just a few of us who really know the machines. We take our lunch together out back near the gate. It’s a decent way to make a living.
