Jk Steel Industries

Our workshop is Shade No 5 in the Classic Industries Area. It’s right near Maldhari Fatak, which is usually a bit of a mess with traffic around Gondal Chowkdi. If you’re coming this way, you’ll see plenty of other sheds and trucks moving in and out all day long. Jk Steel Industries is just a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. There is no air conditioning or fancy chairs in here. We keep the big doors open most of the time so some air can move through the shade. It gets quite loud with the machines running and the metal clanging around. We don’t spend time writing about ourselves much because there’s always something that needs fixing or moving to the next spot. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we know all the other guys working in the industrial area. It’s a lot of hard work and not much else to it. Sometimes we stay late when a big load needs to go out, and we just grab some food from the stall near the fatak. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few people who know how to handle the heavy stuff. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s where we work. We don’t try to make things sound better than they are. It’s just a steel shed in a busy part of town where we do our jobs. That is it.
