You can find us at Plot No. 6, which is part of Survey No- 145 on SIDC Road. We are in the Veraval (Shapar) area, which is an industrial zone. It’s quite a way out from the city center, and it’s a place where everyone is busy making things. The road is often dusty because of all the trucks, and it can get quite hot in the summer with all the industrial sheds around. Our plot is where we handle all our steel business. We have a small office on-site, but most of the activity happens out on the floor where the steel is stored and moved. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend our days checking stock, talking to drivers, and making sure the paperwork is mostly correct. It isn’t a place for fancy clothes or polished talk. We just focus on the steel and getting things done. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, just waiting around for the truck to arrive. We don’t really do any promotion or advertising; we just have our name on the gate and people know what we do. It’s a straightforward life out here in Shapar. We’ve been at this plot for a good while now and we’re quite comfortable with the routine. We just try to keep things simple and see that our customers get what they need from our yard on SIDC Road. It’s just how we do things at Jay Steel.
