Jay Engineering

Jay Engineering is located at G-1962/1 in Gidc Metoda. It's a small setup, nothing too fancy or modern. We do engineering work, which basically means we spend our time fixing parts, welding, and getting metal to do what it’s supposed to for various projects. The shop is usually full of scraps and tools, but we know where everything is even if it looks cluttered to a stranger. It’s been our base for a while now. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone in a suit. It's just a few of us who know how to work the lathes and the drills properly. Some days are busier than others. We might have a stack of orders one week and then things slow down the next. We don't mind either way. When it's slow, we take the time to maintain the equipment and sweep up. When it's busy, we just put our heads down and work until the job is done. We don't talk much about visions or missions or anything like that. We just want to finish the parts so the customers can get their own machines running again. Living and working in Metoda has its ups and downs, but it’s a good place for a business like ours. You get to know the neighbors at the other units. We help each other out with tools or advice sometimes. It’s a very practical way to live. If you walk past, you’ll hear the sound of metal hitting metal. That’s just us.
