Innovation Engineering

Innovation Engineering is located on Sanskar Mandal Road. We are directly opposite the Laxmi Hotel, so if you can find the hotel, you’ve found us. Our workshop is a place where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or a drill running. We do a lot of small-scale engineering and repair work for people around here. The front of the shop is usually open to the street to let the air in because it gets hot with all the work going on inside. There are tools hanging on every wall, and we probably have more hammers than we actually need. I usually have grease under my fingernails by ten in the morning. It’s not a clean environment, but it’s where things get fixed. We have a small bench where customers sit and wait while we look at whatever they brought in. Sometimes we have to go out to a site, so we lock the gate and leave a note saying when we’ll be back. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements. Most people just know us because they’ve been coming here for years or their father used to bring things here. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it done right so it doesn't come back broken the next week. The road outside is always busy, but we just stay focused on our bench. It’s what we know how to do.
