Hem Caterers And Events is located at Shreeji Sadan on Yogi Nagar Main Road, right off the 150 Feet Ring Road in Rajkot. It’s a busy spot especially with all the traffic coming off the ring road. Most of our work happens in the kitchen area or out at event sites. At Shreeji Sadan, we do a lot of the planning and the prep work. You’ll usually find us arguing over vegetable prices or checking if the big pots are clean. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, especially on weekends. We aren't a big corporate company, just a group of people who know how to cook for a crowd. The office part of our space is quite small because most of the room is taken up by catering equipment and supplies. There is always a smell of spices or frying onions around our place. We don't really have time for fancy decorations in our own office. People from Yogi Nagar often drop by to ask about dates for their functions. We just write everything down in a big ledger we keep on the main table. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have a couple of big fans that keep us going. We’ve been in Rajkot for a while and we just stick to what we know, which is making sure the food is ready when it needs to be. Often we are still here late at night packing up the vans for an early start the next morning.
