Hapani Caterers

Our base is at 6 Royal Park, just off Kalawad Road. It’s a decent area, but the traffic on the main road can be a real headache during the rush hours. We use the space here to manage all the catering work we take on. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and things can get a bit messy when we have a big weekend coming up. We have stacks of plates and crates of spoons piled up in the corner most of the time. Hapani Caterers isn't a big corporate company with a lot of staff in suits. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers we’ve known for years. We do a lot of our planning sitting around the kitchen table. The neighborhood is mostly houses, so we have to be careful not to make too much noise late at night when we are loading the vans. Sometimes we run out of space and have to shuffle things around just to move, but we’ve gotten used to the squeeze. We don’t do much advertising; people usually just find us because they saw us at a wedding or a party somewhere else. We focus on getting the food right and making sure there is enough for everyone. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us on our feet throughout the year. We are just local people trying to make a living doing what we know best in our own way.
