Ghanshyam Engineering Co.

Our workshop, Ghanshyam Engineering Co., is located right on Jain Steel Road in Shapar. If you find the Pitru Krupa Hotel, we are just across from it at Survey No-252. Shapar is a loud, industrial area, and we fit right in with the rest of the metal shops. We spend most of our hours around the lathes and welding machines. It’s dirty work, and our clothes usually show it by midday. The heat from the machines can be a lot in the summer months, but we’re used to it by now. We take on various engineering projects that come our way from the local factories. There is always a pile of metal scraps in the corner waiting to be cleared out at the end of the week. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is the only real break we get in a long shift. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s close to the suppliers we need. The floor is concrete and scarred from years of moving heavy steel pieces around. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room; people just walk into the bay and talk to whoever isn't holding a torch. It’s a straightforward setup. We focus on getting the dimensions right and finishing the metalwork as requested. Shapar is a tough place to work, but it suits us fine. We keep the machines oiled and the tools sharp, waiting for the next job to land on the workbench. It’s just hard work.
