Our place is located right behind Daylight Ceramics in the Juna Ganjiwad area, which is part of Nava Thorala in the Aji industrial zone. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you haven't been here before, but once you see the ceramic factory, you are close. We do a lot of casting work here, and the yard is usually full of sand piles and heavy flasks used for the moulds. The rhythm of the shop is pretty simple. We start in the morning with the prep work and by the afternoon, the metal is ready to be moved. It is a physical job and everyone here has to pull their weight. The building is a basic structure with high ceilings to let the heat out, but it still gets pretty stuffy when we are busy. We don't have a lot of office staff, so if you call, you might hear the grinders or the blowers in the background. We try to keep things organized, but in a casting shop, there is always going to be some mess. We know most of the people in the neighboring units and we often share tools or help each other out when someone’s machinery breaks down. It is a tight-knit community here in Nava Thorala. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the pieces we cast are solid and meet what the customers asked for without any extra talk.
