Gaurang Steel Furniture

Our shop is over in Patel Nagar, not too far from the Greenland Chokdi. We make steel furniture, mostly cupboards, racks, and desks for homes and small offices. It is a bit of a messy process, starting with flat sheets and turning them into something you can actually use. We have a small crew here in Arya Nagar. We do everything from the cutting to the final coat of paint. Sometimes the paint takes a long time to dry if the weather is damp, so we have to wait a day or two before moving the pieces. We are not a big factory. Everything is done by hand or with basic machines. You might find a small scratch here or there, but the furniture is sturdy and will last for years. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. The finished pieces just sit in the front until someone buys them or we deliver them on a small rickshaw. People come to us because they want something that does not break easily like the plastic stuff you find nowadays. We have been in this neighborhood for a while, and most of our business comes from people walking by or neighbors telling their friends about us. We do not do much talking, just focus on the welding and the bending. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. If you need a good steel almirah, you know where to find us.
