Evershine Metals

If you head down Gondal Road and look behind the Rolex building, you’ll find us at Plot No. 45. Evershine Metals is basically a workshop and storage space where we handle a lot of metal pieces. The area around Survey No. 150 is pretty industrial, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We’ve got some heavy equipment in the back and stacks of material that we move around. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We mostly deal with local orders and people who need specific metal parts for their own projects. My brother and a few other guys help out with the heavy lifting. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that, just a small desk where we keep the invoices and a couple of plastic chairs for visitors. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, but we’ve got a couple of big fans that help a bit. People know us in this neighborhood because we’ve been at this spot for years. We just focus on getting the metal cut or moved to where it needs to go. It’s straightforward work, nothing too fancy. We just like to get the job done right so people come back next time. It's a simple life out here on the edge of town.
