Dowel Engineering Works

Dowel Engineering Works is situated on Dhebar Road (South), right in the Atika Industrial Area. If you know Rajkot, you know this area is the heart of engineering and manufacturing. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. It is a functional space where we do a lot of metalwork and machining. The Atika area is always full of the sounds of hammers and drills, and we are right in the middle of it. We have several machines that take up most of our floor space. There is usually a layer of fine metal dust on the surfaces, and we all have grease under our fingernails by the end of the shift. We do not have a lot of time for fancy talk. People come to us when they need something made to a certain size or when a machine part breaks down and needs a replacement. We just look at the piece, figure out how to fix it, and get to work. The heat in the shop can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. We do not have any big mission statements or glossy brochures. We just have our tools and our experience. It is a practical business for practical people. Most of our customers are neighbors in the industrial estate, and we like it that way. It is just how we operate.
