Dj Om is based at Rushabh Banglow on Prasang Hall Street in Rajkot. We are right off the 150 Feet Ring Road, which is a major area for anyone living here. If you know where Sheth Upashray is, we are very close to that. The banglow is where we keep all the sound equipment and lights. It’s not just a home; it’s basically a warehouse for the business. Being in the 360005 area keeps us central to a lot of the venues in Rajkot. We spend a lot of time testing speakers and sorting through music collections. It’s a loud job sometimes, but someone has to do it. We don't have a formal office with a secretary. It’s just us handling the bookings and the gear. The street can get busy with people going to the hall nearby. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the 150 Feet Ring Road area like the back of our hand. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or fancy. We just like music and making sure the equipment works when it’s supposed to. Most days involve loading or unloading the van. It’s physical work and it can be tiring, but it’s what we do. If you stop by, you’ll probably hear us testing a new set of speakers or organizing cables in the garage. We try to keep the neighbors happy despite all the noise from the equipment.
