D. K. Engineering

D. K. Engineering is tucked away in Raj Estate, specifically on Street No. 6. This is the Navrang Para Main Road area within Mavdi Plot. If you’ve ever been to Mavdi Plot, you know it’s the heart of the small-scale engineering world in Rajkot. Our workshop is filled with the sound of grinding and metal hitting metal. It’s a dirty job sometimes, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We work on various parts and machines, focusing on getting the measurements right. The Raj Estate area is full of workshops like ours, so there’s always a lot of activity and the smell of grease in the air. We don’t have a reception desk or a waiting room. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us near one of the lathes or welding machines. Street No. 6 is narrow and can get blocked by trucks loading and unloading, but that’s just part of being in an industrial estate. We take pride in just doing the work without complaining. Our tools are old but well-maintained, and they get the job done. We aren't interested in being the biggest engineering firm around. We just want to be the one that people trust because we don't cut corners. It’s a simple way of living, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal in front of us.
