You’ll find Fine Steel Industries out on NH-8B, just a short distance from the Galaxy Petrol Pump. Being near the pump is handy for the trucks that come in and out all day. We deal with steel, so the yard is usually full of heavy stuff that needs moving. It’s loud, it’s metallic, and it can be quite messy at times. We don't have a front office with air conditioning or fancy carpets. Usually, we’re out where the steel is. It’s a small operation, mostly just a handful of us making sure everything is handled right. We’ve seen the highway get busier and busier over the years. We don't bother with fancy descriptions of our work. Steel is steel. You either need it or you don't. We just make sure we have what people are looking for. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy. But we keep going regardless. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big titles or corporate talk. We’re just a steel yard on the side of the highway. Most of our customers are locals or regulars who have been coming to us for years. We prefer it that way. It keeps things simple and honest. We show up early, we stay until the work is done, and we do it all again the next day without making a fuss about it.
