Balaji Steel

You can find Balaji Steel over at 2 Dhebar Road in the Atika South area. We’re right opposite the railway crossing, so we hear the trains going by all day long. It’s a sound we’ve all grown used to. Kishan Weighbridge is also right near us, which is handy because we have to weigh everything that comes in and goes out. Working with steel is heavy business. We spend a lot of time out in the yard, moving pieces around and getting things ready for customers. The sun gets pretty hot out there on Dhebar Road, especially in the summer months. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a practical place for people to get the steel they need for their work. We get all sorts of people coming through—some are regulars we’ve known for years, and others are just passing through because they saw our sign near the crossing. We don't use any fancy language or try to act like we're a big city firm. We're just a local business that's part of the Atika South landscape. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the orders are right and the inventory is counted. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and it suits us just fine.
