Ashirwad Mandap Service

We are located in Govind Park on Nana Mava Main Road. If you know where Gandhi School is, we are right beside it in Rajkot. Most of what we do involves the heavy stuff, like setting up mandaps and large tents. It’s a lot of bamboo poles, heavy fabric, and metal pipes. We spend our days outside in the sun, mostly in the 360005 area. It is hard on the back and the hands, but that is the nature of the work. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We are just guys who know how to tie knots and make sure a structure doesn't fall over when the wind blows. Sometimes we are working late into the night to get a wedding set up for the next morning. The shed where we keep the supplies is usually a bit of a mess with ropes and tarps everywhere. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see our trucks or hear about us from their cousins. It's a simple business. We show up, put the tent up, and then come back later to take it down. During the summer, it gets incredibly hot, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when we can. It’s just how we make a living. There’s no magic to it, just a lot of lifting and carrying from one site to another.
