Amee Steel Works

At Amee Steel Works, we spend our time at Plot No. P-202/a in the Gtdc I. E. Lodhika area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of other workshops around us. We do a lot of cutting and welding every day. The noise is constant, but you get used to it after a while. Our workshop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we stack the materials. Things can get cluttered pretty fast if we aren't careful. We are just a small group of people working here. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Usually, if someone needs something made out of steel, they just walk in or give us a call on the landline. We write everything down in a big ledger book we keep on the main desk. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial estate, and we have to wait around for it to come back on so we can finish the welding. Those are the times we just sit outside and have some tea. We’ve been in Lodhika for years and seen a lot of businesses come and go. We just keep doing what we do. The floor is always covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just honest, hard work that keeps us going from Monday to Saturday. We don't worry much about being polished, we just focus on finishing the jobs.
