Ambika Steel Industry

Ambika Steel Industry sits on Plot No. K/13 in the Gidc Industrial Area along Jetpur Road. We are quite close to Vl Marble, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find our gate. The area is pretty much what you’d expect from an industrial zone—lots of trucks, grey buildings, and the sound of machines running throughout the day. We handle a lot of steel work here, mostly cutting and storing materials. It’s hard work and the shop floor is usually quite loud. We aren't the kind of place with a fancy lobby or uniformed receptionists. It is just us in our work clothes trying to keep up with the orders that come through. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we just have to deal with it and keep moving. The office is just a small room where we keep the logs and take calls from people asking about prices or delivery times. On Jetpur Road, things move fast and we try to keep our pace up with the rest of the street. It’s not a glamorous job, but steel is something people always need for building stuff. We have a small crew and most of us have been here for years, so we know the routine inside out. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the trucks stop coming for the night. It is a simple life centered around the heavy metal we move.
