Alfa Refractory And Beyond

We are out at No.135/Ps in Kothi Village, which is part of the Wankaner Taluka in Rajkot. We’re right along National Highway 8A, so the sound of the big trucks is constant. We deal with refractory materials, which is a bit more specialized than regular house bricks. It involves a lot of heat and some heavy-duty processing. The yard is usually quite busy with raw materials coming in and finished goods going out. Wankaner is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other industries around here. It gets incredibly hot in this part of Gujarat, and inside the plant, it’s even worse. We all drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when we aren't right at the machines. It’s a tough environment, but the people here are used to it. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The "And Beyond" part of our name just means we try to help out with different types of industrial supplies if someone needs them. We don't have a big marketing department or glossy brochures. If a factory owner needs linings for their furnace, they usually know where to find us. We just focus on getting the mix right and making sure the firing process goes as it should. It’s a lot of technical work mixed with old-fashioned sweat.
