Ajay Steel

Ajay Steel is located in the Yash Complex at Shop No. 12. You can find us right at the Ramapeer Chowkri on the 150 Feet Ring Road. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always the sound of traffic and people moving about. We are close to the Lijjat Papad place, which is a good way to know you’re in the right spot. Our shop is relatively small, so we have to be careful with how we stack our steel samples and products. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside when we have more than two people visiting. We have a small wooden counter where we talk to customers and take orders. We’ve been at this complex for a few years and have gotten to know the other shopkeepers around here. The Ring Road is convenient for transport, but it does bring in a lot of dust and exhaust. We have to wipe down our displays quite often to keep them looking okay. We don't have a big team, just a few of us handling the sales and the local deliveries. Most of our customers are locals from the nearby residential and commercial areas. We don't use any slick marketing; we just rely on people seeing our shop as they pass by. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down in the evening. It’s just a regular shop doing its work in a very busy part of the city.
