Room Service Executive

Being right on Station Road in Raipur means there’s never a quiet moment. Hotel Grand International is always buzzing with people coming off the trains, looking for a place to rest their heads. We’re the ones making sure they get what they need without too much fuss. Working as room service executives here in Chhattisgarh is a lot of standing on your feet and moving quickly. The station road is noisy, full of horns and people shouting, but once you step inside, it’s a bit more manageable. We don’t have those polished speeches you hear in those five-star places in Delhi. We’re just local people trying to do a good job. We know which rooms get the most sun and which ones stay cool. Sometimes the elevator takes a second too long, and we have to run up the stairs with a tray, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve seen all sorts of travelers, from businessmen in a hurry to families who just want a clean bed. We keep things moving. It’s a lot of laundry, a lot of cleaning, and making sure the kitchen knows what’s going on. We don’t really have a big about us story. We’re just here every morning before the sun comes up, getting things ready for the next batch of guests arriving on the early train. It's a long day usually but we are used to it.
