Nature Paradise Travels

Tatibandh is a busy place and right in the middle of it in Kabir Nagar you can find us at Nature Paradise Travels. It’s a bit of a funny name maybe, but it’s what we picked. The office is right where the noise of the traffic is loudest. I spend most of my time answering the phone and writing down names in a big ledger book. We don't use fancy computers for everything; the paper works just fine for us and it doesn't crash when the power goes out. The street outside Kabir Nagar is always full of people moving about, so there is plenty to see from the front door. We have a couple of old chairs for customers to sit in while we figure out the routes for their trips. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions to other shops in Tatibandh. We don't mind. The floor is tiled but always has some footprints because people are always coming and going. I keep a calendar on the wall with circles around the dates when things are going to be extra busy, like festival times. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside, but we make it work. Most of the work is just talking to people and making sure the drivers know where they are supposed to be. It’s a simple life running a travel desk in this part of town.
