You can find us at Paryatan Bhawan. We are the ones who handle the tourism side of things here in Chhattisgarh. It’s a government office, so there’s a lot of files and desks everywhere. We spend our time trying to let people know what there is to see in this part of the country. Chhattisgarh has a lot of forests and old temples, but a lot of folks don't even know they are there. We are just regular staff members. We answer the phones, print out brochures, and try to keep the information updated as best we can. Sometimes the maps we have are a bit old, so we have to manually fix them or explain the changes. It's not a fast-paced environment. We take our time to make sure things are correct before we send them out. We don’t use those flashy ads you see for big cities. We just talk about the nature and the history we have around here. Some days are slow, especially when it’s not the travel season. We sit around and talk about which waterfalls are looking good after the rains or which roads are closed. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't want. We just want people to know that we are here if they decide to visit. The building itself is easy enough to find if you ask anyone for Paryatan Bhawan.
