Our branch is located in the Pandri area of Raipur, which is a very well-known part of the city for trade. We are situated right behind the Sant Rajaram Sindhi Dharamshala. It’s a really good landmark to use because almost everyone in Raipur knows exactly where that dharamshala is. The office handles various banking and financial tasks for the local people and businesses around here. It’s not a huge building, but it has everything we need to get the work done. We have a counter for people to come in and talk to us, and then some desks in the back for all the paperwork and computers. Pandri is often quite crowded with shoppers and people doing business, so there’s always a lot of noise and movement right outside our doors. Inside, we just try to keep things moving as efficiently as we can so people don't have to wait too long. It gets incredibly hot in Chhattisgarh during the summer months, so we are all glad for the air conditioning inside the office. Most of the staff here have lived in Raipur for a long time, so we know a lot of the customers who come in. It’s a very regular, everyday kind of place to work. We don't have a fancy lobby or any expensive art on the walls; it's just a functional space. We spend our time checking documents and making sure the records are right. It’s steady work and we’ve been here quite a while.
