We are based out of the Rajendra Hotel on Rajendra Road in Mt. Abu. Being up here in the hills of Rajasthan, the air is a bit different than the hot plains down below. It’s a quiet spot compared to the big cities. We work out of the hotel building. It’s an older place with a lot of character and history. We don't have the newest furniture or anything like that. It’s more about the location and the work we do. Rkhs has been operating here for a while. We see a lot of tourists coming through the area, especially when the weather is nice in the summer. Our days are spent handling the guest needs and keeping the place running. It’s a lot of walking up and down stairs and checking on things like the water or the linens. We don't have a corporate office feel at all. It feels more like a family business where everyone knows each other. Sometimes the monkeys around here cause a bit of trouble with the bins, but that’s just life in Mt. Abu. We keep things simple. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. We just open the doors and do what needs to be done. It’s a steady pace of work. We know most of the other shop owners on Rajendra Road. It’s a small community and we are just happy to be a part of it.
