Mahakaleshwer Vatika

You can find us over in Rajkishore Nagar, right off Seepat Road in the Mopka area of Bilaspur. This vatika has been a part of the neighborhood for a good bit now. It’s basically a large open space where people host their family functions and small gatherings. We see a lot of weddings and birthday parties throughout the year. The office is right here on the grounds, so someone is usually around if a neighbor drops by to ask about available dates. Bilaspur gets quite dusty, so we are always out there sweeping the front and making sure the place looks decent for whoever is coming next. It's a family-run kind of thing, so we don't have fancy systems or anything like that. We just write everything down in a big ledger we keep on the main desk. Dealing with the catering trucks and the music setups can be a bit of a headache on weekends, but we manage to keep things moving. The people living nearby know us well and often stop to chat. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth keeps us busy enough as it is. It’s a plain, honest business. We just want to make sure the lights are working and the gates are open when the guests start showing up. It’s hard work, especially in the middle of summer when it's hot, but it feels good to see the place full of happy people. That is how we have always done things.
