We are based out of Quarter D-100 in the Gopal Nagar colony. It’s part of the Janjgir-Champa area. Living here in the colony means work and life are kind of the same thing. You step out of your front door and you are basically at work. We handle the ACP side of things here. It’s a small operation in this specific quarter, mostly just a few of us making sure everything is recorded properly. The roads around the colony are lined with trees, which helps with the heat in the summer months. We get a lot of trucks passing through the main gate nearby, so there’s always that low rumble of engines. It’s a community where everyone works for the same place. We talk shop over dinner sometimes because there isn't much else to do in the evenings. The office space inside the quarter is a bit cramped with all the binders and files we have to keep. We’ve got a small porch where we sit sometimes when we need a break from the computer screens. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady work. We know the routes the trucks take and the people who drive them. Most of our day is spent making sure the paperwork matches the loads going out. It's just a regular job in a quiet part of the country. We try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary drama in the office space.
