Even though the name mentions Raipur, this office is actually located in Bokaro Steel City. We are in Room 301 on Street 12, in Sector 9 B. Bokaro is a very structured city with all its sectors and streets laid out in a grid. Finding Street 12 is not hard if you follow the main sector roads. The office is on the third floor of the building. It is a basic setup with some old wooden desks and a lot of paper stacks. We handle the regional coordination for the cement business here. The atmosphere in Bokaro Steel City is very industrial, and we fit right into that. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through spreadsheets to track the cement movements. It gets quite cold here in the winters and very hot in the summers, so we just adapt as the seasons change. There are no fancy decorations or corporate posters on our walls. We just have a few maps and some technical charts. People come by to drop off reports or pick up orders throughout the day. We don't have a formal waiting area, so people just stand and chat while we finish up what we are doing. It is a very down-to-earth way of running things, and it suits the local industrial vibe of the city. We just focus on keeping the records straight and making sure everything is in its place.
