Our office is located in Sector 10 of Bhilai Nagar, specifically at Street-8, Quarter Number 4A. This is in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Since Bhilai is a planned township, the streets and sectors are all laid out in a very specific way, which makes it easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. The quarters here have a certain look to them, very solid and practical, reflecting the industrial history of the town. We work out of one of these converted spaces. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of logbooks. We spend our time managing the local coordination for Ambuja Holcim India. It’s a quiet street for the most part, with trees lining the road and some of the neighbors' kids playing outside in the afternoons. The pace of work here is steady. We aren't rushing around like people in the bigger cities might be. We have our routines, like checking the morning deliveries and making sure the accounts are up to date. The weather gets really hot in the summer, so we usually try to get the heavy work done before noon. It’s a modest setup where we focus on being reliable for the people who depend on us. We’ve been here for a while and most of the people in Sector 10 know where the office is. We like the quiet life here in Bhilai.
