B.R.Cement Pipes

You can find us at Shop No.A-1 in the Krishna Complex, right there at Kutchery Chowk. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something going on outside our door. Being at the Chowk means we see everyone, from lawyers going to court to people just passing through. Our business is B.R.Cement Pipes, and as the name suggests, we deal with a lot of heavy concrete. It’s not the easiest stuff to move around, especially in a busy area like this. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in looking for drainage solutions. The shop is small and filled with papers and samples. We keep the actual pipes elsewhere, but this is where the planning happens. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when three or four people are in here at once. We don't have any polished sales pitch; we just tell people what we have and how much it costs. The traffic noise from Kutchery Chowk is constant, but it’s become part of the background of our workday. We’ve been in this complex for a while, and the other shop owners are like neighbors. It’s a steady pace of work. We handle the logistics, make sure the trucks are going to the right sites, and try to keep everything organized in our little corner of the building. It takes a lot of patience to deal with this much cement and this much traffic every day.
