This particular Icici location is a bit different because we are based right inside Saurabh General Store at Nehru Chowk in Mahasamund. You will usually find Mrs. Lali Vyas here managing things. It’s a very local way of doing business, being right there in the middle of a shop that sells everyday items to the community. Mahasamund isn't a huge city, and Nehru Chowk is a central spot where many people pass through every day. Instead of a large, cold bank lobby, we have a small section within the store. It can get quite lively, especially in the mornings when people are out doing their shopping. You’ll hear the sounds of customers buying groceries while we are helping someone with their banking paperwork. It’s a very practical arrangement for this area because it makes it easy for people to stop by while they are already out. We don’t wear fancy uniforms or follow a strict corporate script. We just talk to people like the neighbors they are. Sometimes the store gets a bit crowded and we have to squeeze past boxes of supplies, but that is just part of the charm of working here. We focus on getting the details right and making sure everyone is taken care of. It’s a humble setup, but it works well for the town and for us.
