Hotel Piccadily

Hotel Piccadily is located at C-44 in Gayatri Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Raipur compared to the main city center. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the lobby doesn't look too cluttered. It is a constant job of checking light bulbs and making sure the water is running right. The staff here has been around for a while, so we all know how the others work. It is not like those giant hotels you see in movies; it’s more of a local place where you might see the same faces every morning at breakfast. We have a lot of people coming through for work or to visit family in Chhattisgarh. The building itself has its own quirks, like that one door that always squeaks a little. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even when things get a bit disorganized behind the scenes. You’ll often find us standing behind the desk, waiting for the next guest to arrive or sorting through the mail. We don't use a lot of fancy technology for everything; a lot of our notes are still written down on paper pads. It’s just how we prefer to do things. The neighborhood around Gayatri Nagar is nice to walk through in the evenings when the heat finally breaks. We are just a regular team trying to keep a roof over people's heads for a night or two.
