Hotel Jyoti is right across from the New Bus Stand in Pandri, Raipur. If you are coming off a bus, you’ll see us pretty easily from the street. Gangesh Pradhan is usually around here somewhere, making sure things are moving. The hotel isn’t one of those luxury places with gold everywhere. It’s a building with rooms and a lobby that sees a lot of foot traffic every single day. Since we are right near the bus stand, there is always noise and people moving about. We keep the rooms ready and try to make sure everything works, like the fans and the lights. Sometimes a bulb goes out or a tap leaks, and we have to go fix it quickly. It's a busy way to live. We get all sorts of people staying here, from workers to families passing through. We don't have a big fancy website or a marketing team. We just have the building and the rooms. It's a simple operation. We spend our time checking people in and making sure the cleaning gets done. The area is always humming with the sound of buses and rickshaws outside. It's just a part of life in Raipur. We’ve been here for a good while and we know how it goes. If you need a place to stay that’s right there when you get off the bus, that’s us. We just keep the doors open and do our best with what we have.
