Hotel Grand International Raipur

Our office is found in Ramnagar, Varanasi, over in the Ganga Dhar Puram Colony, specifically in the Panchvati area. We are based at Dr. S. Mitra's place. It’s an interesting setup because we handle the management things for the Hotel Grand International Raipur which is actually over in Raipur. Varanasi is a very old and spiritual city, so working from a quiet colony like Ganga Dhar Puram feels very different from the busy, dusty streets of Raipur where the hotel is. We spend our days here in Ramnagar dealing with the management and all the back-end work that people don't usually see. The office is just a regular building in a quiet residential colony. We don't have any big marketing materials or glossy brochures lying around the desks. It’s mostly just us working on the computers and taking calls from guests or suppliers. We make sure the hotel operations are staying on track even though we are miles away in Uttar Pradesh. The pace of life in Ramnagar is a bit slower than the big city, which actually helps us stay focused on the small details. We aren't a huge multinational corporation. We are just a small team in a neighborhood doing our job as best as we can. We know the local people in the colony and it feels like a very human place to work. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the arrangements are right.
