Hotel Babylon, Raipur

Even though the name is Hotel Babylon in Raipur, our main contact point for this part of the business is actually in Delhi. We are located at C 2/14 in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. It is a busy residential and commercial area with lots of people moving around all the time. Running a hotel business involves a lot of behind-the-scenes work that guests never see. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things from here in Delhi. It is a bit of a trek from Raipur, but that’s how the setup works for us. The office isn’t huge, but it’s where we keep all the records and manage the bookings. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly juggling phone calls and emails. The city noise outside in Mayur Vihar is always there, which is a big change from the quieter hotel rooms. We have been at this address for quite some time now. Most people expect us to be right in the middle of Chhattisgarh, but we manage just fine from here. It takes a lot of coordination to keep everything running smoothly. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to the staff on the ground. It’s not always easy, and things can get pretty disorganized if we aren't careful. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
