Hotel Babylon International

We have been here on VIP Road in Raipur for a good while now. It gets really hot out there in the afternoon, so we try to keep things cool inside for anyone walking through the doors of Hotel Babylon International. You see all sorts of people coming through, some for work and some just passing through Chhattisgarh. The traffic on the road outside can get a bit loud during rush hour, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Our staff usually starts early, getting things ready before the sun really hits the pavement. It is not some high-pressure corporate place, just a building where we try to keep the rooms tidy and the water running. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded when a big group arrives, but we manage to get everyone sorted out eventually. There is a lot of dust from the road work nearby lately, so we are constantly cleaning the glass. People ask for directions to the airport or the local markets all day long. We just show them the way and hope they have a decent stay. It is a simple job, really. We are just a local spot where people can put their bags down for a night or two without much fuss. Most of the time, it is quiet enough to hear the fans humming in the hallways. We just do our bit every day and keep the place open for whoever needs a room.
