Freisher

Freisher is located right in the middle of Old Sadar Bazar in Raigarh. If you know Munshi Gali, you’ll find us easily at Kailash Agrawal’s place. It’s a very crowded area, especially on market days when the trucks are trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. I’ve been working here for quite a while now and I’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant movement of people. The office isn’t huge but it’s packed with files and samples. We spend a lot of time talking to local traders and making sure the orders are packed correctly. Kailash is usually around making sure things are being handled right. The heat in Chhattisgarh can be pretty tough in the summer, especially in these older parts of the city where there isn’t much breeze. We mostly drink a lot of tea and keep the fans running. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and the shopkeepers next door. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of hard work and staying organized. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit and we have to move things quickly, but that’s just part of being in Sadar Bazar. It’s a practical way of doing business and it’s kept us going for a long time. People just come by the Gali when they need something from us and we help them out.
