Durga Carriers Pvt. Ltd. Baloda Bazar is located out in Village Mohtara. To get to us, you have to go past Latuwa in the Baloda Bazar area of Chhattisgarh. We have been working from this village for a long time. Our main thing is transport, so there are always trucks coming in and out of the yard. It can get pretty dusty when the weather is dry, but we don't mind. We have a small office where we keep the registers and the keys for the vehicles. The drivers are usually sitting around the porch waiting for their next trip to start. We are local people and we know these roads like we know our own homes. We don't have any big speeches about how we work. We just get the loads onto the trucks and make sure they get to where they're going. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially when a truck has a breakdown in the middle of the night. We handle all kinds of freight for the people in this part of the country. Mohtara is a quiet village otherwise, but our yard is always a bit noisy with the engines running. We aren't some fancy logistics firm from a big city. We are just a group of guys in a village making sure the goods keep moving across Chhattisgarh. It’s what we do every day and we plan to stay here for a long time.
