Scania Steels & Powers Ltd.

Our office for Scania Steels & Powers Ltd. is right in the heart of Raigarh at 31 Kirodimal Colony, near Hundi Chowk. It’s a place that’s always buzzing with activity because Raigarh is such an industrial town. You can hear the trucks passing by all day long. We have been in this spot for a long time and the locals around Hundi Chowk know us well. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, some old chairs, and a lot of registers where we keep track of everything. It gets really hot in the Chhattisgarh summers, so we have the fans running at full speed most of the time. Working in the steel and power sector means there is always something going on. We spend a lot of our day coordinating between different sites. We don't use any of those big corporate words to describe what we do. It’s just hard work and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but that’s just how it is here. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or what is happening in the colony. It’s a very grounded way to work. We aren't trying to be some giant polished company. We are just a group of people in Raigarh doing our jobs day in and day out. It is a practical life, and we are fine with that.
