Jindal Steel & Power Ltd Raigarh (C.G.)

Our office is part of the Jindal Steel & Power Ltd setup in Raigarh. Specifically, we are located at NE 20 in the Hill View Colony. It is a bit of a different vibe here compared to being right inside the plant. It’s a little quieter, which helps when we have to focus on the numbers and the reports. Being in Hill View Colony means we are tucked away a bit, but everyone in Raigarh knows where the Jindal colony areas are. We handle various administrative tasks for the company from this spot. The office has a very lived-in feel. There are stacks of files on the desks and the sound of printers going off throughout the day. We are just regular people doing a job. Some of us walk to work since we live nearby in the colony itself. It makes for a very local, community feel. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. The walls are plain, and the desks are old. What matters is that the work gets processed. We deal with a lot of coordination between the different departments. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails. We just keep things simple. If there is a problem, we fix it. We don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just a standard office life in Chhattisgarh. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the steel business keeps moving forward.
