Jindal Steel & Power Limited

This office is at House No. Old F-10 on Kharsia Road, part of the Hill View Colony for JSPL. Since we are right here on the main road in Raigarh, we see a lot of the activity that goes on with the steel plant. It’s a practical location for Jindal Steel & Power Limited workers and those of us who handle the administrative side. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of moving materials along Kharsia Road. It’s a busy stretch of tarmac with trucks going back and forth constantly. Inside the office, it’s a bit quieter, mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone call. We handle everything from housing queries for the staff to checking on inventory coming into the yard. There’s always a pile of paperwork to go through, and we try to keep it from getting too messy. Raigarh can be a dusty place with all the industry, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just provide a place where the work gets sorted and the plans for the day are made. It’s about being reliable and being here when the site needs something handled. Most of us have been working in this area for a long time, so we know the routine. We often share some tea and discuss the latest updates from the different plant sections before heading home.
