Our place, Anjani Steels Ltd., is situated in Vill.Ujalpur, near the Gerwani post office in Raigarh. Being in Madhya Pradesh 496001 means we are right in the heart of the country. It is a rural setting, so things move a bit slower than in the big cities. The air is different here, and you can hear the birds when the machines aren't running. We have a lot of space out in the village to handle the steel. The work is tough and the guys get pretty tired by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a long time. People in Raigarh know us by name. Most of our staff comes from the local villages, so we all know each other's families. It creates a friendly atmosphere, even when the work is heavy. The office is just a small room with a couple of fans and some old ledgers. We don't use any complicated software, just a pen and paper mostly. When the sun goes down, the place gets quiet and we lock up for the day. It’s an honest way to make a living.
