Opjcc - Op Jindal Community College

We've been here in Punjipathra for a bit now, right out on Gharghoda Road. This place is basically about getting people ready for real work. We have different workshops and classrooms where students spend their day. It’s not fancy, just a lot of practical stuff. Raigarh is a big industrial area, so there’s always a need for skills. People come from nearby villages to learn. The gates open early and the instructors are usually busy in the labs. Sometimes it’s noisy with the machines, but that’s how it goes when you’re actually doing things. We try to keep the equipment running and make sure everyone has what they need. There's plenty of space around the campus. It feels like a small community here. Most of us live nearby or commute from the city. Life here is pretty straightforward. We focus on the basics and try to help the students get their footing. The road outside can get dusty with the trucks passing by, but inside the college, it’s all about the training. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. Just a place in Raigarh where people can come to pick up a trade. We've seen a lot of faces come through these doors over the years. Some stay for a short course, others stay longer. It's a busy spot most days and we just keep things moving.
