Jindal Steel And Power Limited

We’re based out of Mr. R.K Sharma’s place, over at house C-16 in the C&D Colony. This is part of Jindal Garh, which is tied to the JSPL operations here in Raigarh. It’s a typical company colony vibe, where everyone knows everyone else’s business. The house isn’t anything out of the ordinary, just a regular spot where we handle things for Jindal Steel And Power Limited. Chhattisgarh can get pretty hot, so we usually have the coolers running full blast during the day. The colony has its own rhythm, with kids playing outside and people walking to and from the plant. It’s not like a fancy office in a big city. We use the front room mostly for the files and the computer. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the neighbors drop by for a chat while we’re trying to finish up some reports. It’s a lived-in space. There’s always some dust because of the industrial work nearby, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big sign outside or a reception desk. You just find C-16 and knock on the door. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We handle the local work from here, keeping it simple and local. Raigarh is a busy place for steel, and being right here in the colony makes it easier to stay connected to the actual work happening on the ground every day.
