Jindal Steel And Power Limited

Our setup is a bit different because we are operating out of Room No 405 in the Vrindavan Engineers Hostel. This is part of the Jindal GET Hostel on Kharsia Road in Raigarh. Since we are right here in Raigarh, we are close to the heart of the action for Jindal Steel And Power Limited. Being in a hostel room means it is a tight space. We have our computers and files squeezed in there. It is mostly engineers and staff living and working around here, so there is always a lot of talk about technical stuff and plant operations. The hostel can be a noisy place with people coming and going at all hours because of the shift work. We do not have a fancy entrance or a boardroom. We just have our desks and a lot of coffee to keep us going. It is a very hands-on environment. You can hear the sounds of the road and the general bustle of the hostel life outside the door. We spend a lot of our time looking at spreadsheets or talking to people over at the main plant. It is not a glamorous office life, but it is real. We are right in the middle of where things are actually happening. It is about as practical as it gets. We just focus on our specific tasks and try to keep everything moving forward without making a big fuss.
