Our office for Smv Agro Producers Private Limited is in Kharghar, over at the Orchid AFNHB Complex. We are in Sector 20, specifically in flat C 804 of Jalvayu Vihar. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time compared to the center of Mumbai. We use the flat to manage our agro production business. It’s a small operation with just a few of us handling the orders and the coordination with the farms. Living and working in a place like Kharghar gives us a bit of breathing room. The office is basically a few desks, some computers, and a lot of phone lines. We spend our time making sure the production side of things is running smoothly. It’s not always perfect; sometimes we lose track of a file or the internet goes down, but we manage. We aren't a big company with a flashy lobby. We are just regular people trying to make a go of it in the agriculture sector. We talk to suppliers and farmers all day long. The building is nice and it’s a decent place to spend our working hours. We try to be straightforward with everyone we deal with. There are no hidden agendas or complex corporate structures here. We just focus on the food and the land and getting things moved from one place to another. It is a simple business run by people who care about what they do.
