We are based out of Shelsur, specifically at Sau Endubai Ramesh Ghayaldl’s place, which is number 145. It is where Irjeet Agritech Farmers Producer Company Limited operates from every day. It is a modest setup, really. We just have a small space where we keep our books and meet with the other farmers from around this area. Shelsur is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, so people just walk in whenever they have a question or a problem. We don’t really have set hours that we stick to strictly because things change so much with the seasons. If someone needs something, they usually know where to find us. There is a lot of talk about seeds and tools in our office. Sometimes the local kids are playing nearby while we are trying to work. It’s just how it is here in the village. We have a few old folders and a laptop that takes a long time to start up in the morning. The office, if you even want to call it that, is just a part of the house. We have got a porch where we sit when it gets too stuffy inside. It is practical for us. We don’t need anything fancy to get the actual work done. The road to Shelsur can be a bit bumpy after the monsoon rains come through. We are just local people working together under the name Irjeet Agritech. It is simple, honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like it is more than it is.
