Kasamm Agro Foods India Private Limited

Kasamm Agro Foods India Private Limited is based out of a flat in the Nimbeshwar building, which is in Vichumbe Village near Panvel. It’s part of the Raigarh district, and it’s a bit of a mix between old village life and the new buildings coming up. We’re in Flat C 202. It’s where we do all our planning for the agro foods business. Panvel is a busy hub, so there’s always a lot of movement around us. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s more of a home-grown business feeling. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and looking at different food products. The kitchen table often doubles as our meeting desk. It’s a bit tight in the flat when we have a few people over, but it works for what we need. Living and working in the same general area means we’re always on the clock, in a way. We like the local vibe of Vichumbe. It’s not as polished as Mumbai, and that suits us fine. We’re just regular people trying to get good food products to the market. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the Panvel traffic, but we just roll with it. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just take it day by day and try to make sure everything is handled right. We started this because we knew the local farmers and wanted to do something with the produce.
